What we really like about this device is the fact that it has a smaller form factor and we like the track pad over the trackball. It also has a pretty decent camera and 3G and Wi-Fi calling.

We were disappointed in the fact that the accessories are not backward compatible. We found the browsing experience to be poor and the speakerphone quality seems to degrade at high volume.

Overall, we think the team at Research Motion has done a pretty good job on this phone. Naturally, there are always some small improvements that can be made, but all in all the Blackberry Bold 9700 is the type of phone that business people will need to use when they’re on the go. We happen to think that this device is a little too bulky and a little too glitzy which takes away from a phone that has many great features.
