3D games for mobilephones were almost unimaginable for these last few years but then here we are. We are seeing 3D games on our mobilephones. Although not as powerful as today's gaming standards (with fast technology advancement, we're getting there), it's good looking enough to entertain us. It feels almost like the first time playing Super Mario on the Snes, it had the best graphics ever available. Anyway, here's a game from a famous maker of racing games, EA games and their most popular yet in mobilephone gaming world, the Need for Speed Undercover.
Race through tight streets and grind your way out of trouble as police cars will relentlessly chase you down. Although a shot, it's as exciting as the console versions. Your cars are rigged up and ready to boost into high speed using nitros. You'll be racing against gangs and stubborn police cars. Compared to the console game, this mobilephone version of Need for Speed: Undercover is just a sneak peek... imagine the console version.
Well, chances are you already played this exciting game from your Sony PS3 or XBOX 360. If not then I say you should! It's great and the story is interesting but racing games aren't for story telling, it's the thrill the we're seeking. Be assured that the Need for Speed Undercover is going to give you the best thrill ride you have ever played. Don't have a console? You can grab affordable mobilephone deals with free Sony PS3, two birds in one stone. A lot of deals are cheap and are better than buying it on the high streets, almost the same price but you're left without a free PS3 or XBOX 360. You can also compare mobilephone with free gift deals and see if it works for you.

The most addicting game of the 90's, Tetris, is now on mobilephone
Looking at games with great graphics inclines us to buy the game. Even for mobilephones there a lot of good looking games. But there is game that don't need super cool graphics or the need to have a good story either, by that it doesn't need bigger memory space. A game that eats your time easily when you play it. It was easily the most popular game in the past. It was before Sodoku, it was before the snake game on older mobilephones but a bit similar. Do you know what I'm talking about? It's Tetris!
Tetris was the game that made the world addicted to it. You don't need an appealing story, you don't need to get stronger, you don't need super graphics that eats a lot of your precious phone memory! It's Tetris as you know it! The puzzle game that was a long time favorite game of children, teens and adults alike!
Now you can play this addicting game on your phone! It's the classic Tetris with better graphics. It's available on the Nokia N95 mobilephone or on phones that run Symbian Operating System. The controls are intuitive and easy, just as how you remembered it years ago. It's got a new feature, a ghost option where you can see the position of your piece before it drops into place. Takes away a bit of challenge but it's there if you want to try it. You also have game 3 options: marathon mode, ultra mode and 40 lines. Marathon is like the normal mode where you continue to play until you lose and record the highest score you ever got. Ultra mode is where you beat the current high score in this mode in not more than 3 minutes. In 40 lines mode, you create and clear 40 lines as fast as possible, like a “time attack”. It doesn't have the original sound tracks but it's still as fun as it was back then.
You can check other mobilephone games here. And if you're interested on cheap mobilephone deals with free gifts, check on e2save.com or phones4u.com.

The steampunk mobilephone - Motorola AURA
Get ready for some “steampunk” looks! I now introduce you to a new eye candy, the Motorola AURA. It has a steampunk design that will attract retro fashionistas, anime/comic fans, item collectors, teens or anyone for that matter. It has a swivel opening mechanism that will definitely turn heads your way. It looks cool no matter where you look. It looks fresh and the whole casing just looks amazing in stainless steel. You can bet it's durable! It has a scratch-free glass screen! You'd need a diamond or any heavy cutting material or device to scratch or break this glass! It is undeniably the coolest thing I've seen since the LG KG800 Chocolate. Having a cool looking design like this, I doubt it will have a friendly price! Well if you wanna cut back some cash, best you'd a mobilephone with a free gift deal, it would take a while before deals like that emerge but it's definitely worth it. Well, enough with the introductions and let's see the important details that the Motorola AURA has.
Design:
The Motorola AURA stands out, it's small so it is easy to carry. Its overall circular size is only 97 x 47.6 x 18.6 mm and is made of stainless steel, so small but it weighs 141 grams which also makes it feel solid and durable. It has 1.5 Inch Circular TFT 16 Million Colour Screen in 480 pixels resolution. Quite unique huh? The screen has excellent display quality. The screen is exposed on the front, however it changes functionality when you flip open phone. When you flip the cover up, you can see the metallic keypads which looks very nice.
Multimedia:
The Motorola AURA isn't much of a multimedia performer but it won't bore you either. It's got a decent music player which can play MP3, WAV, WMA and AAC+. Sound quality is quite tinny... not very good. You can however watch MPEG4 and 3GP formats on its Video Player. You can also play and download games for your entertainment. And aside from those, sorry to say, there isn't more.
Memory:
It is capable of storing 2GB of files, messages, songs, videos, etc. Although it doesn't have micro memory card support, the 2GB memory should be enough for this phone as it doesn't have any powerful multimedia feature that you can take advantage anyway.
Camera:
As much as fashion conscious users likes to look good, most probably they would want to take pictures too! And what better suits this situation? A fashion phone with great overall camera features. And yet sadly, this gorgeous Motorola AURA doesn't deliver much. It only has a 2 Megapixel camera, not too high but it does the job. It doesn't have a flash! What a turn off...
Internet:
Although the Motorola AURA has failed in giving a good camera functionality, it does excel in other features. Its got GPRS technology which is now the usual connectivity implemented in mobile phones. The phone has a EDGE technology which is 4x faster than GPRS, currently the fastest technology that transfers data efficiently. It's got a WAP 2.0 XHTML browser too which displays almost like the desktop browser.
Messaging:
The Motorola AURA supports SMS (Text Messaging), MMS (Multimedia Messaging) and EMS (Enhanced Messaging), sending and receiving isn't a problem. Pretty good but it doesn't have predictive text functionality, bad news for some users.
Calling:
Calling on the Motorola AURA isn't bad too, in fact it's as good as any smartphone. It has Quad Band network connectivity, utilizing four frequencies in GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. This means the phone is great for roaming allowing you to have great connectivity even in between countries.
Battery:
The phone has a decent battery to power these high end features, it can last up to 7 hours of Talk Time or 410 hours standby.
It looks like the Motorola AURA is gonna be a shocker especially when you see it's price tag. Well, I'll give you a tip. If you really want this phone you should wait it out months after it's release and check how much it has changed in price OR you check the Internet from time to time again and hope that there will be Vodafone free line rental deals. This way you can cutback some of the cash you'll be spending for this beautiful phone.
