Nokia 7230 Mobile Phone Review

The Nokia 7230 is a sleek, attractive phone that has a variety of popular goodies. Unfortunately it offers very little in new or original features. At this price range, we would anticipate something more sophisticated.

What the 7230 lacks in features it makes up for in appearance. This phone comes in black or pink with silver and chrome accents. The finger friendly buttons, the curvy shape and textured back makes this phone a pleasure to look at and handle. The keypad slides in and out smoothly and closes with a distinctive click. Even though this phone tries to achieve a stylish, futuristic look, parts of it feel cheap and the buttons could be a little more finger friendly. The 2.4 inch screen is a bit small, but the 262k color TFT comes across crisp and clear.

Even though the Series 40 operating system is easy to use, a lot of people think it is boring compared to some of the more convenient systems on other phones.

The 3.1 megapixel camera leaves mush to be desired. It has a series of capture modes that make it fun to play with, however the lack of a flash produces poor quality photos. While using the camera try to stay in a well lighted area but even then your photos may be grainy. If you are in a dim area you may end up with nothing buts shadows. The video can capture up to 15 frames a second which does look pretty good on the screen. If any of your photos do come out clear, there is a cool option that lets you load the pictures directly to Flickr or Ovi. There are ways to help your budget and that would be online mobilephone contracts. These deals give great discounts and you can easily take advantage of them.
